In the Middle East the goal has been peace, at least for the Israelis. The Israeli salutation,
“Shalom,” means “peace.” “Shalom” is more than the absence of war, it is a wholeness, a
completeness, a calmness, a rest. Israel has been working toward peace since their War of
Independence in 1948, but their sworn enemy, Islam, doesn’t have the same goal. Israel was a
wasteland for thousands of years because the Jews were absent from the land. Those years
gave the upstart religion of Mohammed, founded in 610 AD, plenty of time to turn the land into
a garden, but that was not Islam’s goal. Israel turned the garden of Gaza over to Muslim Arabs,
who call themselves Palestinians, in a “land for peace” deal. Palestinians elected Hamas by
over 70%, and it was the last election in Gaza. Hamas didn’t capitalize on the thriving economy
established by the Jews. They destroyed it using billions of aid dollars to manufacture weapons
and build 320 miles of tunnels under their human shields – hospitals and civilians who were
willing participants or captives, too afraid to object.

The Hamas Covenant of 1988 states, “[Peace] initiatives and so-called peaceful solutions and
international conferences are in contradiction to the principles of the Islamic Resistance
Movement… There is no solution for the Palestinian problem except by Jihad. Initiatives,
proposals and international conferences are but a waste of time, an exercise in futility.” (Article
13) The 2006 “Hudna” is Hamas’ peace contract with Israel – an extended ceasefire with no
sanctions if a party violates it – allowing Hamas time to become stronger and seek allies for the
next attack. Hamas has repeatedly violated this Hudna in 2008 and 2012 firing rockets into
Israel, in 2014 with the abduction and murder of three Israeli teens, and in 2023 in a horrific
massacre of innocents.

Since the beginning of time, there has been a battle between God and the forces of darkness –
good vs. evil. God names that evil in Genesis 6:11 “Now, the earth was corrupt in God’s sight,
and the earth was filled with violence, desecration, infringement, outrage, assault, wickedness,
evil, and lust for power or “Hamas.” At its founding in 1987, Hamas redefined the ancient
Hebrew word “Hamas” as an acronym for Harakat al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Islamic
Resistance Movement). Just as the devil, the epitome of evil in the Bible, came disguised as an
“angel of light,” Hamas is disguised by the establishment media and the left’s other useful

The carnage of October 7 is celebrated in Gaza and Hamas-occupied cities of Israel like
Nablus, Jenin, and Ramallah. Hamas’ goal is the destruction of Israel “from the river to the
sea.” There are very few Palestinian innocents. Palestinian mothers are recorded saying how
proud they are of the butchery and encouraging their children to kill Jews. There is a reason
why Arab nations like Egypt are only allowing foreign nationals and severely wounded to leave
Gaza and refusing the Palestinians. They understand Hudna is not peace with Hamas merely
an extended ceasefire until the next round of terror.

The left in the US embraces destruction in our cities by groups like Black Lives Matter
masquerading as civil rights, the butchery of children disguised as a woman’s right to choose,
and child mutilation portrayed as gender equality. The Washington DC ‘squad,” led by Muslim
Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.), is in league with evil Hamas. “Shame on anyone who glorifies as
‘resistance’ the largest single-day mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust,” said Ritchie
Torres (D., N.Y.) Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, says calls for ceasefire are “outrageous.”
“We are at war,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared. “You’re next,” he warns if
Israel does not defeat Hamas. Hamas calls it jihad, a holy war. God waged holy war to destroy
Hamas by destroying the earth and all its inhabitants except Noah’s family. We must join the
song, Am Yisrael Chai (the people of Israel live) and pray for the real peace of Israel, not
another Hudna and more victims of Hamas.
