TRUE THE VOTE ELECTION FLASH: ABBOTT NOT ON BALLOT IN BEXAR COUNTY, TX 

HOUSTON, TX. — November 4, 2014: True the Vote (TTV), the nation’s leading voters’ rights and election integrity organization, today issued the following incident report from Bexar County, Texas.

Date/Time: November 4, 2014 at approximately 11:30 A.M. Central 

Location: 5481 Prue Road, San Antonio, TX 78240 

Witness Type: Social media intercept

Incident Type: Incorrect candidate name on ballot 

Incident Summary: Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott is not listed on at least one precinct’s voting machines. Failed Lt. Governor Candidate David Dewhurst is listed instead. Bexar County Election Administrator’s office has confirmed the complaint and is investigating how widespread the problem is.

 According to Washington Free Beacon reporter Lachlan Markay, a voting machine in Texas has Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst listed as the candidate running for governor. Dewhurst isn’t running.
