US and Russian Satellite Images, Do Both Indicate Ukraine Fired Missiles At MH-17?

In a starling development a well known US reporter, with sources in US intelligence agencies, has said US satellite images indicate the missile source was Ukrainian forces.  At the same time Russia has released satellite images claimed to show that the missile came from a Ukrainian controlled area.  Both the Russian rebels and Ukraine both have BUK missile systems.

First some background:

AUN-TV has reported, and may be the first news company to do so, that the three videos showing the ground explosion and smoke mysteriously lack any evidence of a plane or smoking debris in the air before the ground explosion.  Even after nearly a week, only these three videos that have surfaced, even though the crash site is right next to a town and there are over 60 million cell phones in the Ukraine. The two satellite images in this article are most helpful in trying to solve this mystery.   They do look as if a plane came down, mostly in one piece, with a wing and other parts having broken off on the way down.

Reporter Robert Parry, who was a key figure in uncovering the Iran-Contra scandal, has come forward with sensational new info.   Below is an InfoWars article about that, with a video:

Whistleblower: U.S. Satellite Images Show Ukrainian Troops Shooting Down MH17

by Paul Joseph Watson |

Award winning former Associated Press reporter Robert Parry has been told by an intelligence source that the United States is in possession of satellite imagery which shows that Ukrainian troops were responsible for the shoot down of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17.

In the absence of any proper investigation, media rhetoric over the last few days has firmly pointed the finger of blame for the downing of the aircraft on Russian-backed Ukrainian rebels, but Parry’s source tells a different story.

What I’ve been told by one source, who has provided accurate information on similar matters in the past, is that U.S. intelligence agencies do have detailed satellite images of the likely missile battery that launched the fateful missile, but the battery appears to have been under the control of Ukrainian government troops dressed in what look like Ukrainian uniforms.

The source said CIA analysts were still not ruling out the possibility that the troops were actually eastern Ukrainian rebels in similar uniforms but the initial assessment was that the troops were Ukrainian soldiers. There also was the suggestion that the soldiers involved were undisciplined and possibly drunk, since the imagery showed what looked like beer bottles scattered around the site, the source said.

A question that needs to be asked,  is who has to gain by shooting down a jetliner with almost 300 people on it?   Do the Russian Separatists have anything to gain?   No.  Do the Ukrainians?  No.  Do the Russians? No.   It may be as simple as an accident.  Just in last few days the Separatists have downed two Ukrainian military planes in the area.  It is a war zone, and it could be an accident.    The only parties that really have something to gain, are those that can use it to fix blame on their enemy, so as to vilify their enemy and gain world sympathy for their cause.   So rushing to judgement on this is dangerous, as the only reason to shoot it down would be to do it in such a manner that an innocent party is blamed for it.
